Personal items

Our expedition staff will take every precaution to ensure the safety of your personal belongings during your expedition. That said, the responsibility for your personal items is ultimately with yourself. Impulse Adventures does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to your bags, equipment, property, and personal belongings during your expedition including while in the possession of our porters, pack animals and vehicles. We will however always endeavour to minimise risk and assist in situations of lost/damaged/stolen luggage or property where appropriate to do so.

Insurance

All tour participants must have travel insurance before commencing their tour. Insurance cover must include rescue and evacuation for remote areas. It is the strong advice of Impulse Adventures to take out a quality travel insurance policy that has high levels of cover for medical treatment, remote area evacuation, cancelations, and travel delays. It is also the responsibly of the participant to ensure their cover extends to all activities undertaken during the expedition, in particular, altitude limits and ‘technical roped activities’ such as climbing, mountaineering or backcountry skiing.

Impulse Adventures has a number of quality travel insurance partners for a range of applications depending on your circumstance and chosen expedition. Check out our travel insurance page HERE.
